Coach Lindsay Brown grew up in Northern California swimming for Arroyo High School and summer swim teams. She attended Azusa Pacific University and swam for 4 years. She also became a diver her sophomore year, becoming the only diver and swimmer on the team. She competed in both the 50 and 100 freestyle, with the occasional 200 freestyle, along with 1 Meter and 3 Meter spring board. As a senior she was a captain of the APU swim team. Coach Brown graduated from APU in 2016 with a Bachelor’s in Applied Exercise Science and became and EMT for 2 years. Lindsay and her husband Alton were married in 2017 and recently had a baby (Alton-Norman) in January 2019. They live in Pomona and enjoy going to the beach in their free time! Coach Brown states, “I now am looking forward to being the Head Coach of the Claremont HS swim team and am blessed to have the opportunity”.
We are so excited to have Lindsay Brown as our Swim Head Coach!!
