Running in the Varsity Boys ‘A’ Gold Division, Claremont’s JV team took third place at the 2017 Woodbridge Cross Country Invite held at SilverLakes Park in Norco.

CHS was led by Daniel Schneider, who finished 13th in 15:31 over the 3-mile course. Blake Bertrand (26th, 15:44), Diego Denson (28th, 15:47), Dylan Arreola (38th, 15:58) and Antonio Diaz (39th, 15:59) rounded out the top five.

CHS also took third in the Senior Boys – Gold race with 66 points. Kevin Hamel took 7th in 16:41 to lead this group.

In the Junior Boys – Gold race, Claremont finish 6th with 208 points. Andrew Patterson’s 29th place in 17:16 paced the group.

In the Sophomore Boys – Gold race, Claremont finished in tenth place with 311 points. The top CHS runner was Nathan Hoon (34th, 17:17).

In the Frosh Boys – Gold race, CHS took 5th with 211 points. The top Claremont runner was Rowan Orluan-Rhyne, who took 9th in 17:05.
