In a very strong team competition, Claremont High’s boys’ cross country team took 13th at the prestigious Bob Firman Invite on September 23 in Boise, Idaho. The meet drew numerous strong teams from multiple west coast states.

Aaron Reyes took 53rd place in 16:23 over the 5000 meter (3.1 mile) course to pace CHS. Behind the junior were Adam Trafecanty (68th, 16:33), Vicente Huerta (84th, 16:41), Jeremiah Alarcon (88th, 16:43) and Michael Carpenter (114th, 16:56).
